Terms of Service

Version 1.1 draft · Effective date: [OWNER TO COMPLETE] · Last updated: 2026-10-18
Draft for owner/legal review. This page describes the application as shipped in Hydra v46 (1.19). Items marked [OWNER TO COMPLETE] must be filled in by the person or company operating this site before the page is relied on. Nothing here has been reviewed by a lawyer.

These terms govern use of this Hydra instance, operated by [OWNER TO COMPLETE].

Accounts

Anyone can create an account with an email address and a password, unless the operator closes sign-ups. You are responsible for your password and for anything done with your account. The operator may suspend accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Free preview and subscription

A new visitor can use Hydra free of charge for a short preview (5 minutes from the first message, once per person, ordinary chat and web search only). After the preview, using the site's AI models needs a subscription of £9.99 a month (the price shown at checkout is the one that applies), unless the operator gives your account free access or you use your own provider API keys.

Payments are taken by Stripe; Hydra never sees your card details. The subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Account → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Deleting your account cancels the subscription. A subscription includes a monthly allowance of AI usage on the site's models; when it is used up, the app says so. Refunds and your right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing: [OWNER TO COMPLETE].

What the service does

Hydra sends your prompts to third-party AI models and shows their answers, with tools (web search, code execution in your browser, connectors you enable, image/video generation). Answers can be wrong. Verify anything important; the "Verify" action and the sources shown are aids, not guarantees.

Usage limits

The operator sets a daily allowance per account (a monthly one for subscribers) and a site-wide ceiling; the app tells you when you reach them. You may add your own provider API keys, which are then used for your requests under those providers' terms. Limits can change without notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and what is generated for you, subject to the AI providers' terms. You grant the operator only the rights needed to run the service (store, transmit to providers, display back to you).

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from AI output, provider outages, or data loss — export your data regularly. [OWNER TO COMPLETE] jurisdiction-specific limitations.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Account & privacy). The operator may close the service with reasonable notice where possible.
